About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr. Lead Business Execution Consultant to join the Strategic Programs and Enterprise Change Management organization. This role will report to Joanne Leahy, Enterprise Change Management Executive and include regular engagement and interaction with the CAO, COO, and senior leaders from across the 15 business groups and enterprise functions of Wells Fargo.

The Strategic Programs and Enterprise Change Management organization is tasked with helping Wells Fargo become a more efficient and effective organization. To do so, our team works with senior leaders across the company to solve some of the most important, strategic and difficult challenges facing the company.

Our global team of ~500 people is part of the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization and has three primary responsibilities:

  • Strategic Programs: Lead cross line of business initiatives that are strategically important and/or improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.

  • Enterprise Change Management: Set the standards, processes, procedures and tools that enable the company to successfully deliver change on time, on scope and on budget while also managing the risk associated with that change.

  • COO Change Delivery: Execute $500+MM in technology and other initiatives that are important to the success of the COO organization.

Our work includes strategic problem solving to define, manage, and continuously improve the company’s Change Management methodology as well as driving a culture of leading with a change mindset. We execute programs, manage change, and improve the way the company operates.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for leading the design and delivery a multi-faceted ECM culture communication strategy across the organization having company-wide impact.

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex culture and communication challenges across multiple lines of business.

  • Navigate senior levels of the organization and utilize relationships to build consensus and alignment.

  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, broad reaching.

  • Provide vision, leadership, and industry knowledge regarding driving culture strategy significantly influencing the company's approach to execution of change.

  • Evaluate effectiveness and provide updates to key enterprise stakeholders, leadership, and executive leadership regarding the industry benchmarks and benefit realizations.

  • Act as mentor and coach to the ECM Readiness and Adoption team staff members in order to increase communication skills and ensure alignment to the culture communications strategy

  • Lead and oversee multiple high priority programs and teams spanning businesses and all organizational levels.

  • Drive the thought leadership for standing up new programs and be accountable for delivering key program milestones.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives by providing guidance for these strategic programs.

  • Drive partnership and collaboration across multiple senior stakeholders from business groups and enterprise functions.

  • Design and deliver high-impact storylines and content to support discussions with senior leaders and Wells Fargo.

  • Provide strategic guidance to project teams, especially navigating obstacles, challenging decisions or address gaps to fill.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading culture transformation communication in a large-scale financial service company

  • Extensive experience partnering with senior-level executives across a large, matrixed organization.

  • Extensive experience to drive problem solving for complex questions (e.g., develop hypothesis, structure problem, drive analyses, and design solutions)

  • Ability to lead team(s) across all organizational levels; partnering with business leaders to achieve key goals through flexibility and adaptability.

  • Extensive experience counseling executives on high profile issues and delivery of internal communications

  • Demonstrated experience designing executive thought leadership platforms.

  • Extensive experience presenting information that persuades and enhances understanding at all levels.

  • Experience securing media opportunities with national or trade media outlets.

  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint skills), with a strong focus on executive-level presentations through PowerPoint.

  • Ability to lead in a fast paced, high demand environment.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Willingness to work on-site at the listed location
